Responsibilities: |
|
| |
- Meeting project objectives within specified time frame parameters and defined requirements
- Corresponding task status/issues to IS management
- Ensuring that project success criteria are met
- Performing application design, coding, building and executing system/unit test plans
- Participating in application design and review
- Developing code that meets business/user requirements and IS quality standards
- Determining day-to-day systems issues related to performance, efficiency and availability of production systems within area of responsibility
- Performs day-to-day maintenance of production software systems

Requirements : |
|
| |
- Strong programmer with at least two years programming experience
- Must have excellent work ethic and a desire to learn.
- Duties will include development in Java and writing SQL statements
- Two or more years of Java programming experience
- 1 year experience in using JSF, EJB 3.0 and AJAX
- Experience using Servlet, JSP and JDBC
- Relational database experience, such as MS SQL or Oracle
- Experience with UML artifacts such as Class Diagrams, Use Cases, Sequence Diagrams, Deployment Diagrams and Activity Diagrams Strong OO concepts
- Good software testing skills (Junit, system and integration testing)
- Strong systems, problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team structure
