Quality Assurance Engineer |

Responsibilities: |
|
| |
- Coordinate, plan and execute the test activities to ensure the system meets business and technical requirements.
- Develop test plans, test cases and expected results
- Interface with Development in resolving defects as needed
- Update test plans and test cases with customer reported defects for QA process improvement
- Analyze requirements, translate requirements into specifications, bugs, and test cases.
- Perform comprehensive data integrity testing and defect reporting
- Perform function/regression testing to ensure that our applications meet the specifications of the functional requirements.
- Perform both black and white box testing of web applications, specifically with e-commerce.
- Identify, document, and raise issues as they arise, participate in issue resolution.
- Implementation test plans and automated software testing procedures.

Qualifications: |
|
| |
- Education: BS in Computer Science or related degree
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux a plus
- Knowledge of Java, C/C++, SQL, JUnit, Maven, Cargo and Ant a plus
- Must be a self-starter needing minimal supervision, able to work well under pressure and to pay strict attention to detail
- Experience in testing against web services that utilize J2EE and Relational Database is preferred
- Working experience in Software Quality Assurance is preferred
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills
